Restructured Kanebo Aims For Expansion Overseas

After a corporate reorganization, Kanebo Cosmetics announced its plans to expand its global business by 2015. Combining pride for its tradition with innovation, the company said it will seek to strengthen its global influence as a cosmetics company. Also, the company said it will focus investments in prestige products and will aim at consumer satisfaction to ensure repeat business. Its new strategy includes “strengthening priority brands”, “strengthening the company’s foundations in Japan”, and pushing for “dramatic growth” in overseas markets.
