Price Helps Asian Women Decide Which Beauty Products To Buy

January 23, 2013: 12:00 AM EST
Women across Asia consider price when choosing beauty products, according to the Global Habit survey by Hakuhodo. Looking at Asian women's perception of beauty products, the study covered 14 cities in East Asia, Southeast Asia, and India. Results revealed East Asian women focus more on skincare products, while Southeast Asian women are more concerned with makeup. Facial cleansers, however, are universally used, with 90 percent of East Asian respondents saying they use the products and more than 70 percent in Southeast Asia. Among Indian women, however, only 40 percent said they use them.
