CPL Aromas Creates Technology For Making High-Concentration, Low-Dose Fragrance Formulas

Since 2009, CPL Aromas Ltd. has been developing the Ecoboost technology the company claims boosts fragrances’ concentration by 10 times more than conventional formulas. Aimed at helping manufacturers of personal care and household products comply with the European Union’s Ecolabel sustainability and safety standards, the technology allows perfumers to create scents dosed at 0.5 percent instead of 5 percent. With applications in several market segments, including candles, perfumes, and household products, Ecoboost also helps manufacturers reduce or eliminate alcohol content of their products.
